A friend has a small room under the stairs that has a toilet in it. At present they have a batten light fitting in there. Her hubby keeps banging his head on the light, so she wants it replacing. The stairs are above so no access to above.
I was thinking of an LED light, so I started searching for a small flush mounted LED light, about 5W. How hard can it be......
Still can't find something suitable, so I thought I would come and ask the people in here, if they know of anything.

That looks like it fits into the ceiling. As the stairs are above and we don't know how much room there is, she is after a flush surface mounted one, so no big hole to drill.
Sorry, I should have specified 'surface mounted' in the title.

If any mods can please change the title to "Need a flush surface mounted light 240V for a small room" it would be appreciated.

Ok no worries. Just that to me, flush means sunken into...

LED strip/tape in a diffuser mounted around the edge of the ceiling. Or CEF do some slim downlighters that only need 25mm clearance.

Neither of us have a cutter for big holes that's another reason why she is after a surface mounted one.
Could go with a strip light in a diffuser. I'll ask if she is up for something like that.

Back to lights , what about 600 x 600 ceiling tile, 12mm thick.

She has found a light that she likes and ordered it mate. Ta anyhow.
