Hi there,
i am trying to fit a new 10a 2 gang 2 way light switch. I have removed the old switch to reveal this... 656C6955-F85A-409C-87A3-CFD8B7E30A12.jpeg
the new switch doesn’t have the same number as holes as the old one so I don’t know which wire goes where. Please can someone help.
The new switch looks like this...

Thank you for any help you can offer.

I assume that is no longer live. Can you see or take a better pic of any terminal markings on the existing switch.

Exact same number of holes.
Looking at the terminals of your old switch as 2 triangles. ones is upside down.
Your new switch is 2 triangles also, but both the same way up.

As mentioned above, make sure its isolated.

Is there a cream coloured twist connector sitting in the back box there?
