Hi guys.

Bit of an odd one, but one of you might have an answer.
I've got a customer who has an old Belling 900G Farmhouse range cooker and the main oven thermostat has failed.
The part number is 46THC8/J5, however it's no longer available and I can't find one anywhere.
Does anyone know if there's a solution, such as using a different part/thermostat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Steve.

Thanks swicade, but I'd already checked and like everyone else it's not available. Thought I'd found one on E-Bay but they've cancelled the order due to no stock, I'd even phoned them and they said they had one, but apparently not!

Espares couldn't come up with a suitable replacement?

Contacted them direct in the past on other parts and they've been pretty good in finding something that'll do the same job.

Could be caught in the ever annoying situation where spares are phased out making people buy new equipment though...seems to be happening more and more last few years.

Thanks Swicade.
Unfortunately neither Espares or Belling could suggest a replacement.

I was just hoping that someone on here might have a solution.

appliancesparesonline.co.uk have it listed.Looks like a two terminal so I would think a universal type would fit if not available.

Thanks sparkdog.
Several sites have it listed as in stock however when you phone them suddenly it's not available.
The good news though is that after 2 hours of going through the internet and phoning various companies I finally spoke to someone who went to the store room and actually had one of these stats in her hand ready to ship to me, so perseverance paid off in the end!
