Discuss Please identify this isolator in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

The TEST button certainly doesnt work. Its also rated at 63A and when the DNO have changed the head its now a 80A Fuse.

The install was TT up until 3 years ago. Now its PME.

Its on the DNO side of the meter, do you think its worth getting them to come and remove it?

There are many VOELCBs being used as DP Isolators.

If the supplier thought that the old VOELCB was capable of carrying the new loading then they would have left it in place. A bit odd to leave it between the meter and the intake though.

If you have any doubts have a good old sniff around the switch and if it stinks of fish then it may have too much load passing through it.

. @OP please,please,please open the box.
