Hi Guys

Ive just finished my two years in college doing city and guilds 2330 level 2 and level 3 and got pretty good results.

Its getting rather close to september and its looking pretty bleak on an apprenticeship. Ive been looking for a job i can go and do so ive searched around for electrical engineer. Found a few mainternance engineer's jobs with an electrical bias. But most people seem to want people with prior experiance. Which i have very little of, the only prior experiance i have is where i went to a company who service and install air compressors for two days and work ive done with my dad.

I just seem very confused about what i can go and do as a job with my qualifications i have at the momment and some good motivation. Im not affraid of hard work or learning new skills.

So basically im after some suggestions of maybe places to search and possible job's to get me some experiance.

Results:

I have 11 GCSE, 2 - A's, 2 - B's, 7 - C's

City and Guilds 2330 level 2, City and Guilds 2330 Level 3, NVQ level 2

wont get many job offers with just the l3 2330 im afraid
you got 2 choices by the looks of it carry on at college is 1 go for the onc then move on to the hnc then hnd then possible uni to get the full degree and maybe get an internship or hound as many employers you can so you can get your nvq which wont be easy either

i know its tough out there

good luck

Thanks for the help I was hoping not to have to return to college but no pain no gain i guess.

Would i be looking at a level 2 diploma in engineering for onc???
