Hi all,
I am not a professional electrician but I hope that some of you here might be able to shed light on a question.

Basically, is there really a difference between the "pressure" on the socket if you use a 3-way adapter stuck straight into the plug (without a cord) or a typical power strip/extension lead? Is the extension lead going to be better in the long run for having things like tv, freeview box, DVD etc connected all the time? Will that give less of a chance of overloading the individual electrical socket in the wall than using a 3-way adapter?
