Hello,

I'm living in Burnaby, B.C.

I finished the electrical foundation program in BCIT that started on last Aug12 and ended on last Feb14.

I already got the certificate for level1 apprenticeship.

I was seeking job. However, I decided staying home rather than working outside due to covid-19 situation.

And then now I have to visit my home country until August.

Since I finished the foundation program on this Feb, if I return in August and apply again, there will be 6months of a gap.

What I want to ask you.....

Would that be ok for my application later?

Do employers think that 6months of a gap as a problam to hire me?

Advisors told me that since I got the permanent certificate and unless I'm trying to take off for like years, I would be fine.

However, I'm a bit anxious, so I just wanna check before I leave.

Thank you
