Hello,

I am updating an old wall outlet with a new. Here is a link to the old and new outlet - see below. On the old outlet there are 2 neutral and 2 hot wire hookups. I assume this is one line and load coming in and one line and load going out since this is probably an outlet in a series of receptacles. On the new outlet there is only one line and one load but of course the old and new have a place for the ground.

My question is on the new outlet. Is it correct to join both neutrals together and run to the one neutral receptor and the same for the hot?
