Just noticed these cowboys are operating in the north east.
i think our geordie members should go round and give them a slap lol

I am surprised how much time you guys are looking and picking at someones website. (its nothing to do with me)
Thats the competition, they are clearly eerm in my opinion not very good.
All the time you are picking faults, they have the opportunity to find about it on this forum, that then gives them the chance to improve it.
Do you really want to help your competition the chance to improve their website and pricing of PAT testing?

I really am not worried about these as" competition" Good luck to anyone who employs them. I can sleep at night, can they? It's also good friggin fun!

Was really worried that I would have to call them out

As per the site warning about being 9 o'clock and the fuse box smelling
Its gone 9 o'clock and that smell turned out to be the Mrs after the curry she ate last night, relief

another thing is the statement that it needs a qualified spark to change a fuse .FFS

I got a reply!!!!! Twas a complete load of auld tosh.
"Thank you for contacting us via our website in regards to your question the answer is the current rules and regulations surrounding the bs7671 wiring regulations act 2008 you can find a copy of this online which will show you all the wiring diagrams and also stipulate the correct methods
If you look at the wiring in the picture you would tell the wiring is more than five years old and most people would look for signs etc and mcbs and RCD's as well as a test on the wiring conforming to part p installations" (SIC)
So there you have it guys, there's an act of parliament setting up the regs and youcan tell from a picture that because it's more than 5 years old it needs a rewire.
