About to start a electrical in my basement, and need to do the rough in for potlights. The lights I'm using have an integrated junction box, and so there won't be a junction box to put in place until I'm at the drywall phase.

So what's expected for the wiring during rough in phase, as there's no junction box to put the wires into? Just staple them in place and leave them hanging?

that’s how we do it in the U.K. , the wires are clipped in place , once the ceiling is up the light holes cutout and connected up
