It’s been suggested I look into joining this scheme by one of the construction companies that I work for.

I’ve been trawling through their website, but can’t find what exactly they need from you? It seems to be a case of applying and paying the fee, then they tell you what they need?

Like all the rest that are similar they want your money. We are required to work to 17th which means we comply with all health and safety law, yet again another example of too many fingers in one pie.

I am a member as one of the contractors I work for (Connaught) own Safecontractor and insist you join otherwise you get no work.

It's the same criteria as CHAS but possibly just a little bit easier to get in, not much though.

So what are the requirements for joining? Do you need anything special?
