I'm an approved NICEIC contractor & have been in the game for some time now (20+ years) I'm considering starting a scrap collection service purely for my fellow electricians as I myself am fed up with the whole process.
What I'm proposing is a collection service either to your business or home address. Your scrap will be graded, weighed & paid for there & then, eliminating your wasted time loading, hauling & sometimes hanging around for payment.
I have secured an account with a international scrap exporter, so I am confident I could potentially offer the best prices around as I have cut out the middle man. I am based in Maidstone, Kent is this something you might be interested in??
Thinking of offering free sharpies on every collection & even some hand tools on certain collections depending on weight.
Thanks for reading.

It wouldn't apply to me because I'm in Ireland but it sounds like a unique idea and something i would be interested in if I was in the mainland. Do you think you can make it work?

In the US scrap copper is going for $ 4.15 a pound. Scrap has become a big thing in the states
