screwfix....spend £400 online on anything and recieve free hitachi 18v drill and torch plus case, charger and 3 batteries! i have personally used these in the past and easily compare with any other brand! a year ago, these cost about £200+ and its easy to pay another £100 for the twist head torch! winner :)

did anyone else get theirs? im well happy, although im not desperate for the tools and the client payed the £400! haha! may sell on ebay or replace my other perfectly good one.im doing the job on mates rates any how and not charged him more than the £400 parts.

do they do many other offers like this often? i know they always offer % discounts online, however these are just sales pitches!

in the stuff i bought, i got a split load 17th edition wylex board, breakers and 10 sockets and ceiling roses for £100? sounds good. i can get boards cheaper at my local w/s but the are protek etc

was thinking about this deal myself but as i bought 3 hitachi kits (drill drivers and hammer drills) less then a year ago and all 6 batteries are only drilling about 5* 7mm holes on a full charge im less then impressed:mad:. I know they are ni-cd batteries but never the less are still 2.0ah so they should be better then this. When batterys are used on screwguns they will only last around 30mins doing light work. looked on youtube on how to revive ni-cd batterys and it looks a little dangourous.
