Bosch GBH-2-26 DFR, is the way forward. had mine for around 18 months and never had a problem. i even use it for coreing holes for fans.

We have the Hitachi 24v sds DH24DVC for £270 inc vat

we use the 25.2v Hitachi sds. It's taken all the punishment thrown at it.
The batteries just go on and on.
Its a rare occasion now if I need get my corded Bosch out.
