I know this is totally off topic but it says on you're that you don't charge vat. Your business looks like it handles a reasonable amount of work so how do you get round the vat? The reason I ask is I'm swithering wether to go vat registered or not?

A comment for all your websites.
Do you use pictures of your own work, a lot just pull pics off the web. I generally believe very little I see on the web.
If you do use your own, make a point that they are examples of your work.

Holy moly! How could I have missed that!

Give us a min.

Photoshopping per chance?!?!?!?!?!?

Just shut mine down pal, I had it up with my signature here for over 2 years until recently, I will let you have a link to my new site when it is up and running.

Mine is a mix of the two throughout. The portfolio is all our work

Photoshopping per chance?!?!?!?!?!?

Sorted ;)

Not that I know much about websites , ( have not even got one , as near on all our work is word of mouth ) but I think your web site looks very professional Damian !
The only thing I have noticed are in the pictures that are associated with your free index page .

The earth connection on that swa is not one I would personally be showcasing , and I may be wrong but I am sure you yourself were extoling the virtues of only ever using brass nuts and bolts in a thread only the other day ?

Also I would be surprised if those adhesive pads that have the aerial cable fixed to them on that tiled roof would still be secure within the week , let alone after a winter .

Having said that , you have a web site and what appears to be a company that I would be proud to say was my own . So good on yer !

LED Lighting page - "warrantee" shouldn't that be "warranty"?

Good spot!

Not currently registered.

I didn't even know that one was up! It was something I knocked up a few years back to show someone what you could 'get away' with if you were in the middle of nowhere and you ran out of crimps. You need the roofing bolt with this set up to keep the twisted loop compressed.

Fair point though, it is obviously not the best way of doing it, the pic has been deleted :)

It wasnt just them securing the cable, after the picture was taken I stuck my own fabricated tile hooks on, but they aren't very photogenic. You'll have to take my word for that though :D

Thank you :)

Homepage - Don't like the freeindex box...draws attention away from stuff that matters and that box unfortunately reminds me of a bad 90s blog. It also slows the page load down markedly..

Portfolio Page - On Firefox on Win 7 x64, rolling over some images (in particular the industrial customer on the top right) causes the order of photos below to change and move around the screen.

Having 2 nav bars is slightly confusing, I'd choose either a side mounted bar or a top bar, not both as it makes the navigation disjointed and could be clearer.

Thats just from a few minutes mucking around.

Appreciate the feedback :)

ok, ill add apart from JRCProperty lol, like a said loads of content to be added lots of work still to be done, i only posted my website because i got asked and because i started the thread, most likely the full website will get changed, i think its too plain for my liking.
