I (and a neighbour) want to put a shower in each of our bathrooms. Tank is in the loft so all good but cannot run a supply in for an electric shower due to design of the house. I know there are power showers which require only a 3 amp supply which is perfect cos I can use existing ring main. Anyone know what kinda shower this is? It is thermostatic and power too.

hi took one out last week i will try and find out the make it was hot and cold feed with a pump looked like the standard power shower but no heater
just pump and mixer setting

if you can;
run separate 22mm pipe from tank in loft, the tank connector should be fitted below (about 25mm lower down) the main feed from the tank for hot water cylinder ( safety feature so you run out of hot water first and don't get scolded).

run separate 22mm pipe from the hot water cylinder via a Surrey flange (has a baffle in it) to reduce air bubbles being sucked along the pipe.

The 22mm can the be reduced to 15mm nearer the shower unit. By using separate pipe feeds you give consistent water to the shower and avoid that Hot\Cold feeling when someone turns on a tap or flushes the loo.
also make sure there is a 1mtr height gap between the shower head and the base of the tank in the loft so there is enough head of water.

look for something like this
Triton Shower Pumps

hope this helps
