Is anyone else finding the forum is getting slow to load and getting 'Cloudflare' error messages? I've had problems on and off for a couple of days.

And why, why why won't it let me post without a prefix???????

Had a cloud flare error yesterday, but put it down to dodgy 4G signal.

I've had it a few times today.

The cloud flare message usually says its a server problem.

It is okay today although it is slow to load at times.

Yeah I clocked this and rebooted Apache and some systems. Then the whole server. It was something hanging on one of the forums (my bad as usual) that stopped other things from processing.

Never found the fault and it hasn't come back.... for now. Ha

I hate faults like that. They look like they have gone then come back to bite you on the bum when you go away on holiday :rage:

Same here, no problems to report

Does the colour drop still for you from time to time?

Haven't noticed it for a day or two but earlier than that it has occasionally done it.

@Dan
The forum dropped back to black and white for ne but only on one thread. I looked at the thread that's something like '63a rcbo' and lost colour. Back to the main menu and all other threads were ok.
Just tried the same thread again and all showing in colour again.

Whacky isnt it.

Going to transfer to a brand new server next month and load the sites from brand new installation files.

It's only happening to the older forums. They all started on different forum software and have a lot of the old files still in place (to forward old page URLs to their current version). And I think its those files that are the problem.

The forums are that big though so I cant duplicate them all on the same server they are on as it would fill up and fail the final couple installs.

So its better practice to just get a new server, we've been on this for a couple of years now meaning there are better performing servers cheaper than the one we are on! Im paying 2025 prices for 2023 tech which is half the capacity of brand new tech.

So no point messing with this one too much. Ive already started to install new forums on the new server. Just need some time to transfer over which need be done carefully.
