Had sky Q for a while now and everything was fine.
Over xmas, some mornings i would have to reset the wifi connection on the box itself.... which means inputting the lengthy wifi password.
I put this down to maybe interference by a multitude of flashing fairy lights causing interference.
Now all that's cleared away, its still happing. Not everyday, but always seems to be overnight as we notice in the morning, or whenever the box is first turned on each day.
Have tried Sky's own forum, but no real answer. According to it, its either the box updating overnight, and cutting off.... or the box is getting confused between the wifi 5GHz and 2.4 GHz channels.
Just surprised this is a recent problem.... we moved the skyQ box into a different room about november last year, but issues have only just started.
