Afternoon Ladies and Gent's,

I've got a level three assignment to add all the necessary installation symbols to a hotel and swimming pool. DB's, FCU's, switches et-cetra. Is there a standard for these or even a recognised set of symbols? I've searched as you would expect but there seems to be various mixed-bags. Any links to the recognised norm would be very much appreciated.

Any students seeing a similar assignment (I'm told it's replaced the old army barrack question); hit it EARLY. The notes say 20 hours study - nearer 200 is the truth.

all the software i have found has weird symbols for sockets etc. i have reverted to a sharpie and a beermat.

As mentioned in my title, The OSG has some but more missing that present. I'd like find a complete guide.

Telectrix, if you had to bodge improvise using your imagination, where are the standards IET are so fond of in the reg's!

bs electrical symbols for drawings - Bing - https://www.bing.com/search?FORM=U303DF&PC=U303&q=bs+electrical+symbols+for+drawings

I've done that very same assignment. We was all told that for the ones that are not listed in the back of the onsite guid (spot lights, fire repeater panels etc) you just make one up and put it in the ledger on the assignment itself.
