Hi All! :)

ive started doing some subby work as of thursday just gone and in a week im gonna have to invoice them for the work ive done.

This is all new to me so i need some advice!

i was under the imppresion that i would bill for the full amount and then pay the tax myself, but ive since been told that the norm is too bill less 20% and have the company pay your tax for you. is this correct?

hi mate if they say there stopping your tax for you then yes, you would of need to give them your self employed ref number as well for this. if they arnt then like you say put your bill in and sort your own tax out.

ok ive spoken to the inland revenue and ive got that sorted, does anyone have a template they use for invoicing as a subby they could post up?
