What I need to do this year is to remember to actually press the submit button after it's gone to the 'are you sure' screen. Cost me £300 or something in late fines that did, when I thought I'd submitted it on time.

Out of curiosity, do you find it all easy to do yourself as a Ltd company? Im paying for VAT returns every quarter and end of year accounts is over £1000 alone, although i keep extensive records of income/ outgoings etc would be good to save a few quid over the year if its easy! (ish)

I use an accounting systems called Freeagent- All online- very good for smallish Ltd Companies

Thanks il look it up! Is it a case of filling in each month for vat returns etc and working out all year end accounts?

It does it all for you- You upload your online bank statements into it, assign every expense to what it needs to be assigned to- does your VAT, Corp tax, Paye etc, very user friendly
