Do we think it would be worth moving this into the general forum??, wider coverage and could be good fun, with a big emphasis on zero tolerance for the usual behaviour. Or do we want it left as is...............

Btw......awesome idea!!

Just spoken with Test Meter and seen has they have donated two great prizes we think having this in the TS and another in the general forum would be best.
Making both a Sticky is a great idea.

No good Simon I'm afraid, you forgot the cord grip

Excellent mate, you could put a laser level on the L&N! No copper showing at all, really well done.

How many trainees use this section? We must have more competition than this surely. :50:

Well said Simon. By the way I have to take out my entry to this competition due to my link to the sponsor, besides I've got a £300 multimeter and Test-Meter have given me a discount for my MFT calibration (that I got off them).

The prize for you guys is worth just short of £100!!! Have a look:- http://martindale-electric.co.uk/specifications/specMARMM53.pdf

A very nice bit of kit and any Electrician would be happy to have that in their tool box/bag. Lets keep this competition going for another 4-6 weeks and we will see how many entries we have and make a decision from there as a collective group. As I say, its your forum, you help run it so its your choice.

Yeah that sounds fair Paul. Hopefully we get some more people posting there pics. :)

I should have posted this up last week but I got side tracked with loads of other things so sorry Trainees.

RULES:-

It has to be your own work. Dont ask your boss or one of the lads on site to do it for you lol.

It has to be a 3 plate pendant or baton with loop in & loop out + switch wire in T&E (double brown T&E is fine).

Test-Meter will be the judge on this and the General forum competition (not started yet, need to look into the legal side of things). They have a man that teaches their technical staff and he used to be a 2391 (2394/5) instructor. He will judge this competition and it is completely independent from the forum. Cant get any fairer than that.

Trainees can post up more than one photo so if you want to have another go at it please feel free. (generl forum members only have one shot at it btw because they are working Electricians).

Test-Meter or myself will post out the prize.

Have a go at it, nothing to loose and it is a bit of fun that may win you a great prize. Good luck

Because this competition was running at the time of the great prizes offer, I have to keep it going and adjust the rules like I have done above. The other comp in the general section will start once we have had some advice on the legal side of things. Just so you all know why it has not been started yet.

you think yours are bad? some of the ones ive seen make the ones in professional mag look well professional XD

Yep, rats nests on ceilings. Looks like the Trainees are doing better than the practicing sparks out in the real world, that is a great standard to have, well done all of you so far but more of you need to post up your pictures.
