Tilt lamps in vaulted ceiling

Hello,

We are going to fit tilt downlights in a vaulted ceiling. I am well aware that draughts can come through a tilt fitting which is seated in the roof space of a vaulted ceiling of an extension.

I'm looking for some advice on how to seal against this. We are using Auroa/Enlite LED fittings which in fact state that the fitting can be completely covered in insulation, so one method I am thinking of adopting is to strap insulation to the back of the body or around the smaller diameter before fitting them. Sealing them from above would be great, but as it's a vaulted ceiling there is no access at all.

I suppose you could put fire hoods over them, but it is a right annoyance to install them from below.

Fit fire rated tilt fittings, the built in fire hood will stop most of the draft issues.

They are fire rated, but fire rated never means air tight. It's a vaulted ceiling, so unfortunately there is no access to seal from above with a hood.

They are Enlite E8 tilt fittings, as with most tilt there is a gap where the lamp pivots and this is where draughts are likely to occur.

I assume that it is a finished ceiling now if not I as going to suggest sealed plasterboard box.
