Hi,

I fix games consoles, mainly old gameboys as a hobby. I'm wanting to get into fixing phones and tablets to get more customers. Can anyone recommend a toolkit for fixing more delicate electronics like iphones?

Precision screwdriver set will be a must with a good selection of tips

look on eBay at used precision screwdrivers

A good desk mounted magnifying glass would be the first thing on my list so I could even see the damn screws.

What do you get for a repaired game boy these days?
I bought myself a little 3 point screwdriver a few years ago when my youngest threw up on MY Nintendo ds. I made one out of two damaged devices with a unique black with red buttons design.

I often wondered how easy/hard it would be to be a phone repairer.... but my hands are a little clumsy for such precision work.

Yeah, you can get really lucky selling gameboys on ebay.
Thanks for the iFixit recommendation. They have some tutorials for replacing phone screens, so I've bought an iFixit kit from Accu.
If you don't have the apple care + insurance, apple charge between £132 and £326 just to replace the screen! So £50 to £70 is a fair price for customers and for me because it should take less than 2 hours to do.
