hi guys, I'm having trouble understanding a question in my course book.
Q. "State the current ratings of the following ring final circuit components and accessories."

1. circuit protective device -
2. socket outlet -
3. fused connection unit -

I don't really even understand the questions , but I assume all 3 should be rated at 32 amps

1 could also be a 30 amp rewirable fuse. In theory at least!

Or less would be safe as well, though the regs normally say 30A (BS 3036) / 32A (BS88 / MCB / RCBO)

I'd encourage @Scholes to have a look at 433.1.204 page 95 of big brown book. It covers 1 and 2.
Part 3 is a little ambiguous in my humble opinion.
