I bought a coil of TV Co-Axial Cable from B&Q, together with F-type connectors for a TV aerial extension.
I found that the screen conductors are so fine that the thread of the screw-on connector doesn't bite into the screen conductors and sheath very securely.
The cable is made by TOWER and to me is poor quality. There are NO printed B.S. markings on the sheath.
Anyone else had this issue with B&Q co-axial cable? 25 metres cost ÂŁ13.98 from memory.

You may have purchased the wrong f type connector for that type if cable, the connector come in a variety of sizes for the different standards of cable in the market
