Discuss What cert is best for a new spd install? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Brand new spd installed new tails, saying minor works is ok, I don’t believe so as tails are coming from metering supply via Henley blocksNeeds part p certification and an EIC cert for new CU/Relevant supply variation to current CU - new tails=new circuit, new circuit=new board(spd unit), New 'board' = part p and EIC.
It is tantamount to a new Consumer Unit of sorts (SPD device) and new tails and so I would reccomend an EIC and Part P notification - it is a new circuit (main fuse to SPD is a new circuit) so this is NOT suitable for a Minor Works.
