What defines you as a supervisor? The company I am working for at the moment expect me to have 2-3 apprentices working on the same job as me, not all ways the same people, Mixed abilities and pretty much run the job. Who takes the flack when things are done wrong, and are had to be re-done. I am not payed as a supervisor and it specifically says on my contract "n/a"
I thought apprentices worked with a qualified trade right through there apprenticeship?

You are being used mate as I was in my site days, apprentices, would, in an ideal world work with the same Electrician, sadly they are being exploited as well, nothing much you can do unless the company is registered with a scam, and you value your job, seen this sort of thing all my working life, that's why I got out of site work and went, public sector.

Ditto what Pete said. The plus side, I think, is you gain from it in terms guiding the apprentices and seeing the bigger picture about the whole job, not just the bit your doing. Think it will give you more confidence to go onto bigger & better things.
