due for an free upgrade next month. what should i get, iphone, smart phone, galaxy. don't want blackberry as fingers too big for the farty little keys. any advice welcome. cheers, Tel.

I upgraded to a Nokia N8 about 1 month ago, its a smart phone with the keyboard on the screen. If you use it in "portrait" mode the keys are small, if you use it in "landscape" mode they are bigger.

Great camera too!

tried a BB. keys are so small, i press 4 at once.

does the N8 have GPS sat. nav.?

.I've had the HTC desire for the past year and can't fault it. As Geordie says there is a lot of apps available for the HTC phones and they are half the cost of iphones

not sure if its to the 17th but what about one of these? price of fuel it could work out a cheaper way to travel

that's just what i get trying to use predictive text on any phone.

looking at the htc titan. fed up of the phone i've got at present. a samsung mocca or some such. it changes the time and date on it's own, dials up last number when in pocket, and switches itself off randomly. think it must be an RCD in disguise

Iv had my HTC Desire HD for a year now nothing to fault it on except battery life if you leave bluetooth on and wifi ect it also gobbles the juice when doing sat nav even when plugged into the car but from what I gather its no worse than others

iPhone 4 is good (although I use an old sony ericcson for work), the old galaxy's battery life is cr4p (doesn't even last the day out), the new one may be better.

so far it's HTC 4. Iphone 1

i have a htc desire s got it when it first came out i wouldnt recommend it a lot of glitches crashing and random turning off
its a pretty good phone when it works and when the battery is powered up but if you want a reliable phone i would not recommend a htc and i wont be getting one after my contract ends

After 2 years of Blackberrys it's time to move to an iPhone. The missus has an iPhone 4 which is a great piece of kit though it's using my iPad for the past few months that's convinced me that Apple really has the OS spot-on. Think it'll be the 4S in January.

Got to be a iPhone

I love the way HTC owners always compare to a iPhone, just like that Golf advert " Drives like a golf"

What about this new Nokia that's coming onto the market, the Lumia I think it's called.

Anyone have/getting one???

I've been working off an iPhone 4 for over a year now. Great piece of kit IMO but make sure you get a case/sleeve of some description to keep it from getting bashed about or full of dust. A feature that i'm really liking is the new iCloud service. All new contacts and calendar entries can be pushed to the cloud then appear on your computer the next time you connect to the internet. Not sure if it works on PC as i use a Mac but i'm sure the service will be available across all platforms. The great thing about the iCloud service is that it's free and ensures that you will never (in theory) lose your data in the event your phone is lost, stolen or smashed to pieces on site. The only draw back of the iPhone is the cost compared to the competition but personally i think it's been worth it even if it's just for the ability to play games at lunch time as well as check your email. ;)
