Discuss Why is my conduit bend passing so far from obstacle? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I’m an electrician trainee and very new to conduit bending.

So the length of the floating wood is 9 1/2” and the height is 10 3/4”
I’m doing a 30 degree bend with multiplier of 2.

I marked the first mark at 9 1/2” then from that mark I measured 21 2/4”, but it just passes to far from the wood that is standing straight, which am doing a 90 degree stub up

Am I suppose to bend it at 45 degree instead of 30?
