Hi,

I have a problem with the above bathroom fan. The tranny seems to be knackered, is it possible to just by one of these, or do I need to buy the whole kit?

Most 12V fans come as a kit and buying the tranny would probably work out more expensive.

I had the same situation today but with a Silavent ELV extractor fan. Whole kit used to be well over £100 but I just put an order in for the transformer on its own - £48 inc VAT. So I'm pretty sure you could buy it on its own.

Why would someone pay 100 for an extractor? Is it fancy looking, or silent or what? Seems a bit extravagant for something that blows poo smell out of the room.
