Can I just add that the two bush spanners that I made are of little use now due to the skimpy bushes available today, I have ck bush key for these which works very well.CK TOOLS ELECTRICIANS 190mm (7.1/2") SOFT GRIP CONDUIT BUSH WRENCH - SPANNER | eBay

i got that from elex last year.

one problem with SWA locknuts is the space around precludes the use of grips or adjustable spanner. the solution is here:

I've got some of these tbh not worth the money as I hardly use them as they only fit one or two manufacturers
As before slim and normal bahco for smaller glands and a pair of nws adjustable wrenches for larger! I'll try and post a pic of these they were £15 each! But do larger glands very nicely
there 20-25+ each now the bahco ones

the problems with any sort of adjustable spanner is the width if you have the gland close to the edge or to an adjacent gland. also a lot of enclosures have a lip on the front, so you can't get the tool flat. end up with it slipping and barking yer knuckles on any metalwork in the vicinity.

thats one on the reasons i like the knipex pliers.

i tend to use grips inside to take then off or 10mm knocking driver
