    Rating downlight transformers....

    Here's a silly question. I've never put in a transformer-type light before, so bear with me please.... I=Watts/Volts, yea? But, when I am using a 35w halogen and a 240-12v transformer for each downlighter, do I work out the amperage as 35/12, or 35/240?? Or something else? 2.9 amps per light...

    LV downlight on wood

    just looked at a job today with t&g ceiling all over, the proprety is a bunglow and the lady would like downlights in the kitchen would this be a problem on the wood ceilings, seen them used on boxed in sections made of wood and seem to have no effect .......... any info would be great

    light directly above shower cubicle

    Can anyone advise? iv been asked to fit some new lighting in a customers bathroom, they want one directly above the shower cubicle as its an enclosed cubicle( i.e 3 tiled walls trap to ceiling and door) so not much light in there. what zone would this position fall in and what fitting options...
