    Current Capacity of a main incomer cable

    We have a main incoming cable coming into a factory unit where I think the size is 300mm 4c. The cable head says 400. Is this the current carrying capacity of the cable or just the model number of the cable head box? I can't get a definitive answer even from Scottish Power!!! Thanks. Hutch

    Volts on N-E / L-E, none on L-N

    Might be simple. I heard of this happening to a friend, but can't remember the reason. Flourescent tube not working. Get no volts when measuring between L-N, and 120v each on L-E and N-E. Other lights on the circuit are fine. What am I missing?
