    dust collector for drilling downlight holes

    a while back i saw some dust collector things advertised, and now i have 20 DL to fit into a finished kitchen which is double boarded and they are right over the worktops so collecting the dust at the top would save me ALOT of cleaning up, but i can't seem to find them anywhere. did i imagine it?

    Drilling holes in walls

    Hi all I am wanting to fit an extractor fan in a kitchen wall. The spec says it needs a hole 173mm in diameter, but the diamond core drill bit sets I see for sale at the usual places only seem to go up to 152mm. Any advice or alternative suggestions please? Thanks

    Drilling holes in new joist for cabling

    Can someone please help. I am running some cables in our new exstension. The joist are approx 4.2m long, am i right in thinking that i have to drill my holes between 0.25m and 1.68m on either side. Many Thanks

    I have a makita HR2470 an sds drill and want to know if i can use it for core drilling applications 4" core holes for extractor fans etc whats the difference between a standard hammer drill and a diamond core hole drill? at the moment i rent one for the day £25.00 cheers luke
