Hi
I just bought a Di-log 9118 (haven't used it yet), and i'm just having a few second thoughts as i have realised that i could have got a Megger MFT1711 for a similar price. I only want to get something at the lower end price wise to start with (ie £500-£600) mainly to do domestic work for...
I have a fluke 1653 which gives me a fuse error, but only when voltage is present. Done some research but not found anyone with the same issue... just wondering if it’s time to retire the fluke as I know it’s getting on a bit now...
just seeing if anyone’s had/ seen this before, I’ve tried a...
Hi
Recently invested in one of these. Impressed! Until...
i came to test my 100mA type A RCD. Long story short, it would not test correctly until
I set it to Type AC, rather than A. My Mega MFT worked fine, only as it is so old it has no options for S type. I did try all the settings in the...
Rather than resurrect an old thread, to turn off the Beep on the Fluke MFT you need to hold the light button whilst turning on the tester, up on the screen comes "Beep off", but it does not work the Beep is still on, anyone have any insight into this, or is the Beep just turned off under certain...
Anyone have any good or bad to say about this tester?

I am in the market for new MFT, but happened to be looking for a leakage tester just now. I, didn't realise that it was also incorporated into the MFT, with a tool of...
Hi,
I've decided a decent test meter would be useful for me but given that I wouldn't be using it more than a couple of times a year I don't really want to buy a new one for £400+, so had a look on ebay and there's quite a few for around £100 which seems much more sensible for the amount of use...
Thought this may be of interest to any trainees out there, no leads or any accessories, but at the moment very inexpensive and will give someone a head start: Fluke multifunction tester 1662 | eBay -...
Looking to replace my current generic test leads that are starting to show signs of variable readings. I also find the crocodile clips don't tend to stay on neutral or earth bars very well.
I have an MFT1711 (and a venerable 1552) so need standard 4mm connectors.
The Megger set are expensive...
How to do Ze test using the Robin kts 1620 instruction, not sure what settings to use ie 20 ohms 200 ohms or 2000 ohms and for the psc ie 200a 2000A or 20KA any help is much appreciated
Hi, I am using my Metrel MI 3152 xc Eurotest MFT along with the Kewtech PAT adaptor plug and even after nulling the leads I am getting higher than the minimum 0.1 ohms when doing a class 1 earth bond test. Kettles and toasters are sometimes 0.46 ohms.
Can anyone offer any advice on this please...
Hi, how can I connect my Kewtech R2 lead to my Metrel MFT so that I do not have to carry the R2 reel with me whilst doing R2 testing? There was never an issue using a Megger but the Metrel utilises a block connector instead of 3 individual leads.
Thanks
Hi as per title, looking for a megger or fluke multifunction tester must be in excellent condition and fully functional.
Please let me know what you have.
Cheers.
Dear all. Does anyone know who can repair my MFT, continuity not stabilising and fluctuates. I know it's the banana connection for the leads as this is a known fault, mine has been replaced / repaired every calibration. No longer supported so parts not available. Cant bear to part with it.
Hi. I'm looking to buy My First Multifunction Tester, a voltage indicator and a proving unit. Do you have any advice or links to special offers, bundles, etc? I'll be doing domestic EICRs, fault finding and remedial work (all domestic). TIA :)
Edit: My budget is £800 all in
This may have been asked before but what is the best all round MFT that also does EV charge point testing?
I am looking at the Megger 1741+ but also believe the Metrel testers are also good?
