I have been asked to install 4x16a and 2x32a cicuits, fed from a 110v cte transformer. what is the best way to distribute the cicuits through a consumer unit? i know i need double pole primary and secondry protection for the cicuits. what type of distribution board can i use for this? i cant seem to find a consumer unit that splits the two secondry supplies? any sugestions anyone? Thanks!

Single phase 415v supply, elaborate as thats a new one to me, its either single phase 230v or 3 phase 415v i have to ask which is it .

Here we go again 415v single phase (it's 2 phase).Just fitted 3 but these were 240/110v think they were manufactured by Blakley everything in one enclosures transformer at the back dp mcb's at the front.Very heavy though.

yes, exactly. i asked for a 230v-110v 10kva transformer. but i was given a 415v single phase- 110v cte transformer! couldnt get my head around that either. but semingly it can be used. it does exist as it arrived. wasnt and still not sure if it is ok to use? seemingly i would use 2 phases of a 3 phase supply forthis. anyway all im wanting to know is how to distribute the secondary side through a distribution board. i know the ratings i need for the cable and cbs. just what do i use for the distribution board. thanks. You could try an 18w db fitted with dp mcb's fitted to L1 & L2 and a blank fitted to L3 and then work your way down the board then terminate the 110v mains onto L1 & L2 of the db disconnector
