Hi,

Firstly, sorry if this post is in the wrong sub-forum group; if it is please advise where to place this thread.

I've been studying for the 18th Ed. Regs course via XS Training and all is going really well.

The only problem is that I've noticed all their practice material/questions haven't included any calculation or formula questions. Would I be expecting to find some of these in the real exam or have things changed these days?

If calculation questions are included in the exam, does anyone know of any genuine (when I say that I mean in the format presented within the exam) practice formula questions I can go through, as so far the XS training course material hasn't gone into any detail about them, or for that fact its not even touched them.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Drop @Dan a PM and join the trainees section, there are exam simulators online in various places; ----------- is thr one thst immediately comes to mind, I think they'll have what you're after

It might not be of any help, but the IET's Electrical Installation Design Guide book has a few worked examples in it which are useful, especially illustrating diversity calculations (that aspect was also mentioned in one of SparkyNinja's videos as far clearer than the On-Site Guide).

the only calc. i remember from 17thwas the adiabatic , transposed , think you had to find t given other variables. i could not be arsed and did the stick a pin in. 1 in 4 chance of being correct.
