Hey people,

Im looking for a new combi drill & impact driver

I have see this dewalt set that I quite like,

http://m.NoLinkingToThis/p/dewalt-d...-twin-pack-combi-drill-impact-driver-xr/62046

2 4aH batteries should last a while.

but I'm not sure what's better Makita or dewalt ??? What's better in your opinion ??? What lasts longer and takes a beating better ???

the Makita equivalent set comes with 3ah batteries

Or for the same money is there a even better make ?

cheers in advance people

That impact drill is not going to be good for much - looks a bit diy to me

I use Bosch GBH 24V for rotary impact - good drill if you have spare batt

Few more pennies but imo worth it.

It's all gd, milwaukee sold it to me as no1 else had it I worked with and 3 yrs on tools and 2 on battery's if registered online. And in good weeks I add to it .

i do find that I could replace combi with a 12v driver as I have sds

I've got the Dewalt XR range aswell now, No Faults what so ever. Great kit. don't know about all this going down hill stuff is about.

Used to have all the makita 18v li-ion gear, but they can ram it. after my 5th battery went faulty, I'm not buying it anymore.

Like many on here I've been through many different makes and currently on Makita 18 volt, batteries fit many items.
i went hitachi for a while which was ok BUT, if it goes wrong it has to go back to the factory, mine was away for 2 weeks whereas Makita is mended at your local dealers
i was on dewalt years ago and hopefully it has improved as we found it pretty bad
