So, I've been told once uhave achieved your 18th edition and completed your 2391-52 which gives u an NVQ level 3,
That u can apply for a Golf card in testing and inspection.

So no need to spend 3 years in college anymore.

Surely this cant be true?

The 18th is a level 3 qualification anyway.
You only need the 2391 for Approved grade.
Sorry, I think I may have mis-read your post?
I’m pretty certain, you still need an NVQ3, unless you have grandfather rights.

Each of the C&G qualifications is graded to a level, e.g. 2391-52 is a level 3 qualification, as Spin says 2382-18 is also level 3... BUT those are standalone qualifications are not a substitute for the NVQ. You're comparing less than two weeks training, two classroom exams + a short practical with something that will take between 6 months and 3 years, depending on your experience and current work arrangements.

I know, i thought NVQ Level 3 can only be achieved through evidence backed by real on site work. But nothing will suprise me anymore.

It’s £2195 for the NVQ3 e-portfolio and 1 day a month for 4 months at the centre I sat my AM2 at 19 years ago. As was looking into it for a lad the other day.
