250 or 500W, mum had one fitted when I was a kid.

Bloody luxury,when I were young
We weren't posh enough for my mum to afford the light/heater,we had to manage with one of those heat lamps plugged into the bakelite lamp holder

you can still purchase Ceiling Heat and Light unit through a British company called TLC
the only problem I see with the is that you can get a Standard British Finger onto the Element

Cord operated switch offers the choice of
Light only, 100 Watt
Heat only 650 Watt
Heat and Light together.
30cm Metal reflector
Lamp: 100 Watt (ES) ( Not Included )
Multi-selector switch
L30cm x W30cm x H17cm

installed 100's of these in the early 1960's kept the bathroom warm
TLC have 23 Branches Nationwide.

hope this helps

Powerfull
