Starts off a nice breeze couple of faults to find on lighting circuits in and out within the hour - turns out was just the switches (both swapped nice cup of coffee and on my way)

Next stop a tripping fault - oh hey 32a breaker and pulling 29 - 34amp, commercial by the way gave a quote for adding in an additional circuit to cover the office.

This is going great at this rate I'll be home by 2pm

3rd stop faulty shaver socket - turns out it ain't faulty been a diy connected it at the light switch for the live so was only working when light on. Rectified took from the live loop and hey presto it's not even 1:00pm and I have one more job to do.......

Connect A LIGHT FITTING - this one I get there and the guy says "I was going to do it myself however I seen all the cables when i unscrewed the old fitting and thought I'd better get someone in"

takes down old fitting - goes to screw new base on and the ceiling crumbles around me --- now do i blame the existing ceiling, the guys half hearted attempt at changing the fitting or just keep quite and patch it up. opted for the third and low and behold ended up getting more work out of him. by the time I'd finished quoted up and then got home it was bloody 4:30pm.

lol always the way but with work being tight as it is it was well worth it for the extra work

yeah from just the light fitting, it was then a socket to be replaced then a couple of other bits and bobs but was there for just over 3 hours hey he was happy all his little bits that he wanted got done and i was happy as what I had quoted 50.00 for 1 light fitting turned into quite a bit more...
