I find it has a purer taste in the UK. Maybe because of all the impurities. Will be sure to research

if the rest of the UK water tastes foul, and stinks of chlorine, like ours does, then you can shove it. i'll stick to beer.

Haha good boy Toni. I'm sure one of the ideas of this site is for young electricians who are trying to learn and gain knowledge of different systems. I don't post about things I know about as it would be pointless. I post about things I DONT know about to try and learn about them. But all you seem to do is get a kick out of patronising people and putting people down. I personally find it hilarious tho hahaha

So i take it that you now know or are at least now aware, NOT to apply for an electrical position within the water industry if your experience is based solely around domestic installations!!

It would be even more hilarious to be a fly on the wall during the very short interview.... lol!!

Morning ENG how are you mate.

It's late afternoon here!! lol!! Sticky springs to mind..... The weather is being a real bitch at the moment with 30+C temperatures and constant thunderstorms that are forecast for most of the coming week. At least it's a day off today with time to relax... lol!!

I didn’t get to see CV’s until they had gone through the HR department, pity they hadn’t a clue what they were looking at.

Fairly early in an interview I’d ask about industrial experience. Often closely followed by please close the door on your way out. No point wasting theirs and our time.

I will say, the guys with relevant experience were getting thin on the ground. We needed people that could make reasoned decisions when things are going haywire.
