Hi All

I have recently had a new bathroom mirror installed with a built in LED and Demister that is turned on using a motion sensor.
The mirror works perfectly, except when there is a power cut. When the power is restored, the mirror LED automatically turns on, this is not ideal if we are out all day or away on holiday.

We have another LED mirror in another bathroom that is turned on by pressing a touch sensitive button, and after a power cut this mirror does not turn on automatically, so this works fine.

Any ideas why the first mirror is turning on and what I can do to stop it?

Thanks

Have you read the instructions?
at a long shot, there may be a switch or cable jumper that you can change to make it function differently after a power cut.
however the most likely thing is it is just the way it works and you will have to live with it or change it for a different one.

it's common for a PIR to activate on restoration of power.it should however swich the light off after whatever time has bee set.
