I last used 7dayshop for some rechargeable NimH batteries for the MFT. Their own branded ones, performing very well so far. They sell many others too though.

i get mine from CPC.

Big Orange Shed has some great offers from time to time...just be careful to compare like with like.
If you need unusual batteries, for remote controls, key fobs etc then go here:

The "industrial" AA batteries I have found to be poor value, poor life, poor shelf life...

But, it's just the cost of doing business...we need batteries, and why take advantage of the amazing LED head torches, yet scrimp and save on powering them?

Keep loads of batteries in your bag, use them and recycle them, and stay out of the dark!

I get mine from battery station mostly for the free delivery to my neck of the woods.

Those are the ones I use for my head torch, MFT, laser level and multitude of other things that need AA batteries.

I like the fact that pretty much any appliance these days is covered by either AA or AAA batteries. Head torches, portable flashlights, testers, meters and lasers and all sorts...still a few needing a PP3 though.
Plus, some stuff has button cell backup cells onboard, but they don't need replacement very frequently.
What i find tricky, because I am old and decrepit, is that the light from LED torches seems to be still bright and white even when the batteries are nearly done...so, you switch it on, it looks ok at first glance, but when you go to use it, it is poor at illuminating. I suppose that's because of the nature of LED...it looks fine when you look at the lens, but when you try to use it, it fails to light up the workspace as you expected. Guess it's a throwback to the old days when batteries faded and the light got yellow and dim.
Sorry, showing my age here! That's why I said in an earlier post, keep plenty on hand, and change them often. Frankly, I don't know how I survived without LED head-torches before...you simply can't have enough of them! Car, toolbag, house...at least 2 in each location...and camping, walking, cycling...and they are so inexpensive nowadays...a triumph of modern technology in my opinion.

I'm a big user of rechargables. I've always got some charged spares and keep a charger that plugs into the lighter socket in the van.

Don't need often but when I do Aldi or B&M's are cheep enough. Just a note you should not just change standard batteries with rechargeable ones in test equipment as it changes the calibration.

I buy those bulk batteries from anywhere that has a decent price on them, I would not call them "industrial" just bulk packed but a lot cheaper then the ones in blister packs, remember if self employed always tax deductible....... like telectrix files tax returns pfffft ;o)))))

strange you should say that. i just sent in 2017/18 return to beat the jan31st. deadline. got a nice thank you email from hmrc.

Old laptop batteries or dead power tool batteries are a good supply of LiPo 18650 - cut the tabs and solder into pairs or us singles in your headlamp - get a charger online but avoid cheap and nasty ones unless your really well insured for fire damage!!!
