NAPIT Certification Scheme Blueflame trade test for napit

Hi all, has anyone ever done one of these trade test for napit? Got a site assessment coming up but was reading I may have to complete a blueflame assesment after a successful onsite assessment?

Me too! Was looking and it's 100% to pass.....got no issues with that as it means I would have great competence but wouldn't mind someone chipping in with there thoughts/experience of this!

Do you mean it's a 100% pass rate ie. nobody fails?

Ooo no no.....100% or you fail...if you get over 75% then you can re asses the ones you have failed to get your 100%......tight but good on NAPIT.....the NIC just ask for 17th!

Had a quick browse and it would seem that it is NAPIT's equivalent of a C&G 2391 or a free course to prove to them you can Inspect and Test.Thats how I read it. First mentioned on IET forum 2007 .

its a joke, 3 part theory test which you just retake till all answers are found (multiple choice) then a practical test and fill out eic.

very basic and yet they compare it to c&g 2391

got the chance to do it when a friend joined and i went along as an operative a few years back.

Not only do you do the test till you get it right, but it's also open book(s) as well, how can this possibly be considered equivalent to CG2391.

Napit are no different to Eca and the Niceic,they play the numbers game

How can any system be efficient at maintaining standards, when they are first of all dependant on member numbers and secondly operating the assessments for those member numbers in opposition to each other

sat it myself when I sat it two guys failled it I wasnt one of the ones that failled
