Rather than doing the vd by trial and error comparison , I prefer to switch the formula round and work out what my maximum vd is per m first, then all those cables that don’t comply can be disregarded
 
Was not aware there had been a change to the requirements for VD in the 18th?
Thought the only change which was introduced in the 17th edition 3rd amendment was to check VD in existing installations.
