Alright troops ! First post here ! Any one come over this situation before !
Yesterday i connected an existing feed for cooker good into socket but it wasn’t working when I turned on!
I tested between live and earth (240v) between live and neutral (12v ) and neutral and earth (0 volt )

I suspected the neutral was an open circuit, I rewire a neutral and that worked!

I can’t think why there was 12v between the L and N

thoughts ?

Whenever i go trick-or-treating...i take an AVI with me :)

Test meter impedance was high enough to see 12V with capacitive leakage !
(That would have disappeared if a little more current was drawn)
( Both terminals at 240V .. No Neutral .. 0 V on meter , Ooops )
