It's crap! You get what ya pays for in ICE - believe me (spent thousands on my show car). Stay away from dodgy ebay unbranded kit. I know people who bought it and wished they never did.

yeah thought as much cirrus! thing is im after sat nav and i want a new stereo for van as well cos factory stereo is awfull, not looking at spending a fortune but sat nav is around a ton and say 50-60 biks on a stereo.

im not new to the world of ice but have never head a show car or anything, what would you recommend? i did fancy a double din setup so i can maybe watch some ---- on me tea breaks!!

Don't forget that if you fit it yourself that the law states that if it is fitted in the dashboard that the the DVD screen has to be disabled whilst driving and not do what that pillock of a lorry driver got caught doing by watching a DVD film on a laptop while driving.

He pleaded guilty at first now he wants to change his plea.

yeah thing is tho this kind of unit has radio on this screen as well as sat nav etc, so if i didnt have a dvd in the car or van then would that be ok?

My advice for double din set ups would be a brand like Kenwood. They have got some great double din 7" DVD systems.

would of liked one bit after seeing the price of the double din with gps it just aint worth the hassle!! ive bought a pionneer flip front 4x50w for 16 bucks plus 8 pound postage, looks ok not brand new but its got more pre outs than me car so might do a swap if its any good.

just gonna get a seperate sat nav, best one out of navman, garmin, sony, timtim?

cheerio roo rah

Some car owners believe that a car DVD player is a pure waste for them and it is also illegal to drive a car while watching the DVD player. However, things are different if they drive a car with other passengers. They can easily get their passengers entertained if they have a car DVD player. Also they can let their car DVD player carry the GPS Navigation system which is indispensable for modern society.
