we are replacing 2 ceiling fans. I wired the first one in and for a dual switch hook up they have the standard white to white black to black and the grounds. but for the light they have a blue wire that goes to the red traveler wire coming in., But now to turn on this light I have to have the fan switch turned on. The light will go on and off from the light switch with the other fan but only if the fan is on.. Should the ceiling fan blue wire go to the black hot and the black from the fan go to the red traveler wire.
